Customer Service Excellence in Animal Welfare
Cultivating a culture of empathy and professionalism in animal welfare organizations supports creating a workplace where compassion and accountability go hand in hand, improving how staff serve the public and care for themselves. The presentation will explore core principles of providing exceptional customer service. Attendees will identify de-escalation techniques that can assist them in dealing with high stress situations. In addition, the presentation will also focus on respectful, trauma-informed communication. Attendees will engage in scenarios addressing real life work situations and identify strategies on how to successffully and confidently navigate the emotional landscape of animal welfare.
